Who Are We?
The mission of Inside-Out Pilates is to address personal biomechanical issues as well as fine tune individual fitness needs. Programs are designed with an emphasis in strength, flexibility, and maintaining optimum balance within the body. There is a heart felt commitment to assist every client in the pursuit of linking these physical insights to the awareness in the mind, regardless of fitness level.
What is Pilates? Pilates is a non-impact intrinsic strength program with focus on initiating movement from deep core muscles. With precision of movement and emphasis on correct breathing patterns there is a gain in stability, joint mobility, and flexibility. The benefits of better balance is a direct result of a dedicated focus on the control and concentration of these patterns. This is a safe and effective method of movement and is progressive and is challenging for most populations. The spectrum of level applies to beginning students as well as elite athletes.
Because life can sometimes bring the occasional injury or pyhsical disability, Pilates is an excellent program for conditions requiring rehabilitation. Regardless of current state of health, there is a wide spectrum of movement that facilitates organizing the body to effect change and healing.
“In ten sessions, you’ll feel the difference, in twenty you’ll see the difference, and in thirty you’ll have a new body.” —Joseph H. Pilates
